There is a street sign in my yard that says “road work ends here”. It is part of the TARP spending projects. The sign across the street proudly brags “this road work is part of ARRA”. Last week, I traveled through the UP and noticed that the signs were up all across the state. The problem is, there was little actual work going on. I think they are there for show, telling people “Hey, we are doing something for you”. I wish they would really do something for me and JUST STOP THE SPENDING. The project ends in my yard, I wish the spending would too.
